I have no complaints about the car itself. Fairly well cleaned and kindly charged it before pickup. It wasn't a terrible experience but the salesman (who I won't name) was not particularly supportive. It began with a 40 minute wait when arriving for a viewing because he was dealing with a handover (there were plenty of other people sat at desks) but I assume whoever answers the phone gets the customer. Then after I was finished with the test drive, we sat down and the attitude while closing the deal was subpar. It was clear he was only there to make money. To be specific (This will not be posted on my public review), it began with me offering £500 less and Ill buy it immediately due to my tight budget only stretched to £15,000, this was rejected because the car was only up for sale for 24 hours, absolutely fair. However, when he asked "Can you afford the extra £500 for the deposit?" I responded hesitantly and said If I was to buy the car then I would have to borrow it. This was immediately responded with "So you can afford the extra £500? If we aren't going to be truthful with eachother then we will get nowhere and it is just going to waste both your time and my time". I was taken aback but knew that I was only there for the car so his attitude didn't really matter. He proceeded to go through many PCP, warranty and service package deals, coming back with multiple discounts which I stated I wasn't interested in. I eventually just said "How much is the deposit for the car to reserve it and take it off sale?" as I was getting tired of the pointless negotiations. After this, I queried the lack of battery SOH check and the unknown risk. He proceeded to tell me they were completely pointless as modern electric cars are so reliable. This is a complete lie. And the final negative part of the conversation was his tendency to mention that there was a lot of profit in the car so they can afford lower warranty and service deals, dropping a year's warranty by £200 and claiming they could because of "the money we have in the car". It just makes a customer feel like they are getting taken for a ride. Then, we made arrangements to pick the car up early as he was on holiday soon after so we needed to pick up the car before then and although I was late for pickup as we were travelling quite a distance, we got there and another 20 minute wait untill the car was ready but I pin that as karma for arriving a similar time later than planned.

The experience at Motor Match Chester was fantastic because Oscar who dealt with us was very helpful and explained everything in full for me. Would use them again in the future to purchase cars

I would recommend Motor Match Chester to friends and family because Jabe was very patient and kind. Explained everything clearly and answered all my questions. Excellent service throughout
